The stretch of ocean between El Nido and Coron is the wildest corner of Palawan — dozens of islands with no roads, no resorts and no crowds. Instead of flying over it or rushing past on a ferry, our expedition takes three days to sail through it, stopping at lagoons, sandbars and reefs most travelers never see.
You sleep two nights at our private island basecamps, eat freshly cooked meals with your boat crew, and arrive in Coron with a camera full of proof and a crew of new friends. One boat, up to 24 castaways, everything organized — you just show up in El Nido.

Depart El Nido — into the islands
Morning briefing and departure from El Nido. We spend the day hopping between limestone islands and snorkeling spots before reaching our first island basecamp in the afternoon — dinner on the beach, rum by the bonfire.
The remote stretch
The heart of the expedition: deserted sandbars, virgin reefs and fishing villages around the Linapacan islands — some of the clearest water in the world. We make camp at the second basecamp for a final island night.
Arrive in Coron
A last morning swim, then we island-hop our way into Coron town by late afternoon. From here you can dive the WWII wrecks, soak in Maquinit hot springs, or just find a hammock and stay a while.

Getting to El Nido & where to stay
Option 1: fly into Puerto Princesa (PPS) and take a 5–6 hour van transfer north to El Nido — vans and buses run all day, and any hostel or hotel can arrange pickup.
Option 2: fly directly to El Nido’s Lio airport with AirSWIFT (now operated by Cebu Pacific). Note: these flights depart from Clark (CRK), not Manila — from Manila, the P2P Bus by Genesis Transport runs from NAIA Terminal 3 to Clark every hour (around ₱450 per person, roughly 2–3 hours depending on traffic).
Plan to arrive at least one night before departure — the boat leaves in the morning, and the pre-departure briefing happens the evening before.

How long is the El Nido to Coron expedition?
3 days and 2 nights. You depart El Nido in the morning of day 1 and arrive in Coron town in the late afternoon of day 3.
Where do we sleep during the expedition?
At our private island basecamps — simple beach huts on remote islands between El Nido and Coron. Two guests share a hut; solo travelers are paired or can request their own.
What is included in the price?
Everything on the water: 2 nights of basecamp accommodation, all meals freshly prepared by the crew, drinking water, coffee, tea and rum, snorkeling masks and life vests, and the full boat crew and guides. Fins and travel insurance are not included.
How do I book and pay?
Pick a departure date on our booking page and reserve your spot with a ₱5,000 per-person deposit (paid online). The remaining balance is paid in cash at the pre-departure briefing.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
No — life vests are provided and the crew watches every swim stop. We ask your swimming level at booking so the guides know who to keep an eye on.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes — all castaways must be 18 or older. The expedition is a social, backpacker-style adventure.
What about luggage?
Bring a soft bag or backpack — hard suitcases are difficult to store on the boat. There is a luggage allowance per person, and many guests leave big bags at their hostel in El Nido or ship them ahead.
What happens in bad weather?
Safety first: the coast guard controls departures. If a trip cannot sail, we move you to the next available departure or refund according to our cancellation policy.
